Who you'd be hiring

A sales engineer who can deconstruct any product, whether it is a website, app, or platform, and articulate what makes it unique in a crowded market.

At Qmatic, I spent four years in technical sales for customer flow software used by DMVs, banks, and hospitals. That meant live demos with buyers, RFP responses, custom demo environments, accessibility compliance, and Power BI dashboards built on the product API. The through-line: figure out what the product actually does better than the alternatives, then prove it to whoever's evaluating it.

Before that, I was a systems administrator at Purdue Federal Credit Union for three years, handling endpoint provisioning, internal training, and the kind of work that teaches you how software actually runs day to day.

If you're hiring a sales engineer, you want someone who can get up to speed on your product fast, understand the competitive landscape, and represent it credibly in front of technical and non-technical audiences. That's the work I've been doing.
